Winter Weather Advisory Tonight
The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for portions of Iowa, including Linn, Johnson, and surrounding counties.
The advisory goes into effect Friday at 6 PM and runs through Saturday at 6 PM.
Light rain will turn over to snow. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches.
Roads will become slick as the temperature drops Friday evening.
