First, it was the winter that wasn't winter. Remember when everyone complained that we couldn't get any snow? Remember our brown December? Now we can't shut winter off! After a snowstorm that left another 6 inches across Eastern Iowa this weekend, another storm has warnings issued for much of the area for tonight into Wednesday.

The good news is that your morning and evening commute today will normal. The storm will hit the area late tonight. Some heavy snow is possible, falling towards the early morning hours on Wednesday. This will obviously make tomorrow's commute tricky and puts local school districts under the gun again. What's one more day when you're going til mid-June anyway?

So the winter of my discontent continues. I've shouted out loud at least three times while shoveling that I hate winter. I'm guessing I'm not alone. But hey, this has got to be the last big snow storm of the season, right? Oh, there are several more chances of snow next week too? I give up.
