The Centers For disease Control and Prevention (CDC) collects facts/data surrounding things such as diseases, sicknesses and causes of death. Those are only an appetizer of the wealth of data they possess. One of the more interesting collections that Daily Dot reported was 'Deaths by Animals' in the U.S.

Man Vs. Beast has put together an infographic outlining just this. Watch out Iowans, it looks like death from being bitten or struck by a larger mammal is more likely than dying because of any wasps, dogs, reptiles, scorpions or venomous spiders. Larger mammals would include bears, large elk, wolves, bison and deer. Deer being the number one cause of death in traffic accidents.
