Where to Check Out 4th of July Fireworks in Eastern Iowa [LIST]
There are quite a few fireworks displays happening here in Eastern Iowa this summer. Many of them are held on the actual 4th of July, but others are set for before the big holiday! Here are some of the area events where you can enjoy fireworks in 2023 (all fireworks begin around dusk):
Linn County
Fairfax USA Days

Cedar Boat Club 75th Anniversary Fireworks Show
- Sunday, July 2nd beginning at 8:30 p.m.
- The Cedar River near Ellis Harbor/Park in Cedar Rapids

Celebration of Freedom Fireworks
- Tuesday, July 4th beginning at 5 p.m.
- Downtown Cedar Rapids - 3rd Ave and the McGrath Amphitheater
- "There will be music on the stage, food vendors, drinks in the venue, and a kids fun zone featuring bounce houses, games, face painting, photo booth, and caricature drawing, PLUS the first 500 kids 12 and under will receive a grab bag with freebies!"
- Event is free with a Freedom Festival button ($10 per person - ages 5 and under do not require a button)
