If you didn't know let me tell you now Santa Claus is coming to town.  The all-important question is when will he get to where you are in Iowa? You can track Santa and find out.

What happened in 1955?

According to the U.S. Department of Defense tracking Santa started very innocently.  A young child mistakenly dialed the unlisted phone number for the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD) Operations Center in Colorado Springs, thinking she was calling Santa Claus after seeing a newspaper ad. That’s how it all began!

Ever since that day, NORAD has taken it upon themselves to keep an eye on old Saint Nick while he traverses the world.

How Do You Track Santa's Location?

NORAD The North American Aerospace Defense Command tracks Santa at Norad Santa, on his journey all over the world and more importantly when he will be pulling up on the reigns and slowing those reindeer as they roll into your neck of the woods.

If you're on the go, it's a new day, they have an app for that. You can stop by Google Play or the App Store for the Norad Santa Tracker app.

If none of those suit your Santa fancy well, how about one of these tracking options?  You have Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, or Instagram

If you need other options simply typing @NoradSanta into a search engine to get ya started.

If your little one is bound and determined to call Santa because that's what that little girl did in 1955, there's a number for that too.  Have them call (877) Hi-Norad, (that's 877-446-6723).  If you have OnStar, simply press the OnStar button.

Happy Santa Tracking.  If you get any good shots, please post them.
