I'm really disappointed in myself.

Like a lot of other people this year, I've been spending an unreasonable amount of time in front of my TV. Streaming services have become my best friend during this pandemic, and I've watched SO many shows and documentaries. Unfortunately, I've discovered that I've apparently been missing out on some great programming!

Rolling Stone has released their annual list of the top 20 best shows of the year, and I'm ashamed to say that I've only seen two of the shows on the list. How is that even possible?! Here are the top ten from their list:

  1. "Better Call Saul" - AMC
  2. "Lovecraft Country" - HBO
  3. "Brockmire" - IFC
  4. "I May Destroy You" - HBO
  5. "The Good Lord Bird" - Showtime
  6. "Normal People" - Hulu
  7. "What We Do in the Shadows" - FX
  8. "We Are Who We Are" - HBO
  9. "How To with John Wilson" - HBO
  10. "Pen15" - Hulu

Out of those ten, the only one I've watched this year is "Pen15" (which is hilarious, awkward, and amazing, by the way). The second show I've seen came in at number 12, and that's "Better Things" on FX. You can check out the full list HERE.

After looking through this list, I realized that I've been spending way too much time watching old shows for the 20th time, as well as shows that are new to ME. I've watched "The Office," "Parks & Rec," and "New Girl" an endless number of times these last few months, and I also dove into "Gilmore Girls" and "The Golden Girls" for the first time. There are a few new seasons of shows from 2020 that I've watched, though. Aside from "Pen15," here are a few of my other favorites:

A few other new shows on my radar include "The Queen's Gambit," "The "Undoing," and "The Flight Attendant." Plus, a new season of "Letterkenny" on Hulu is due out later this month!
