We Love You And Will Miss You Scott

KHAK and its listeners have always been one giant family and tonight, we grieve together.

Our former morning show co-host, Scott Steele, lost his five-year-plus battle with cancer this evening. But to say he lost isn't fair to Scott.

Scott's resolve to beat cancer was amazing. I remember the day he told me he had cancer, and that it was Stage Four. I was devastated for him. Scott was determined. Immediately he said, "I will win." Scott would keep that attitude, bravely share his story with you on-air and online, and be an inspiration to me and so many others each day his battle continued. Scott helped others, even as we were powerless to help him. He was a great, great man who I will always be honored to have known and called a friend. All who knew him realize he's already making heaven an even better place.
