For Game 4 of their Round 2 Stanley Cup Playoffs series vs. the St. Louis Blues, the Nashville Predators called on Vince Gill and his daughters Jenny and Corrina Gill to perform the National Anthem. Readers can press play above to watch the performance, which took place before the game at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday night (May 2).
For Vince and Corrina, their National Anthem performance during the Stanley Cup Playoffs was a reprisal of one they gave during the NHL All-Star Game in 2016. That year's festivities were held in Nashville, and the country star and his then 14-year-old daughter performed the Anthem before the game.
Corrina is Gill's daughter with wife Amy Grant; she's now 16 years old. Jenny, meanwhile, is Gill's daughter with his ex-wife, Janis Oliver; she recently released an EP, The House Sessions.
The Predators' National Anthem singers during this year's playoffs have, thus far, all been country stars: Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan sang the Anthem during the Preds' two home Round 1 playoff games, while Little Big Town performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" during the team's first Round 2 home game on Sunday afternoon (April 30).
Prior to Game 4, the Predators were leading the Blues 2-1 in their series; the two teams will head back to St. Louis for Game 5 of the series on Friday (May 5) at 8PM ET. The Nashville Predators defeated the Chicago Blackhawks four games to none during their first Stanley Cup Playoffs series to advance to Round 2.
