Uptown Friday Night Resumes This Week!

After a week off, Uptown Friday Nights returns to the McGrath Amphitheatre! Join the fun this Friday, August 10th, starting at 6 p.m. As always, the cover is only $5 and the beers are ice cold!

On the stage this week will be Boot Jack Band. KHAK's own Bob and Danielle are hosting tonight and they'll be giving away all kinds of stuff, including tickets to see Sugarland next week at the Iowa State Fair!

This the second to last week for Uptown Friday Nights. Closing out the year will be the Fresh Fighters on Friday, August 17th. If you haven't been to an Uptown this year, be sure to get down to the McGrath Amphitheatre this week or next.

Special thanks to the Cedar Rapids Jaycees for throwing one hell of a party this summer. I love Uptown Friday Nights, it's one of my favorite parts of summer here in Eastern Iowa.
