Two local animal shelters each featured a pet that's looking for a forever home. Cedar Valley Humane Society posted an adorable photo of a tiny little kitten named Marvin that's up for adoption. Marvin is a sweet, playful kitty that love toys and people. And just look at that sweet, little face. How could you not take him home?

Another pet up for adoption is from a different shelter, and species. Meet Little Bit. He's just that and he's up for adoption at Last Hope Animal Rescue.

He may be small, but he can do it all. He loves to play in backyards, and cuddle up on the couch. He's about eight years old and has some arthritis in his front legs. Find out more about Little Bit and how you can make him a part of your home here.

These aren't the only two up for adoption in the eastern Iowa. There are many other animals in need of forever homes from shelters such as Safe Haven of Iowa County, S.A.I.N.T Rescue, and Dogs Forever. Open your home and family to one of these amazing, deserving animals. The holidays, and life is better with pets in it.
