According to CBS2, "Two homes were struck by gunfire late Wednesday night on the southeast side of Cedar Rapids."

The incident happened in the 1500 and 1600 blocks of 6th Avenue Southeast. The police report noted the report of shots fired happened at 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday night, August 28th.
