Try Not to Drool: New Gourmet Bakery Opens in Iowa
In my humble opinion, we're the best outlet for keeping you updated on the newest food restaurants in our area. I mean, you can just look at Courtlin's page on our website on any given night, and you'll find something new to try.
This new spot may be a bit out of the way for residents of eastern Iowa, but all you have to do is take a gander at the picture above and the coming Instagram posts to be sure the trip is worth it.
Cinnaholic, which had previously not had a single Iowa location, just opened in the East Village of Des Moines, at 505 East Grand.
The 'About' section on their website says this of their creations and services: "Our bakery is proud to serve 'create your own' cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats like made from scratch brownies, cookies and edible cookie dough. All of our products are fresh baked and 100% vegan, dairy & lactose free, egg-free and cholesterol-free. We cater all events, large and small including weddings, conferences and conventions."

We are a dessert shop, but we are great at making a delicious cinnamon roll or brownie or cookie. We just don't necessarily need the egg, and we don't need the dairy to do it.
