Train In Northern Iowa Derails And Hits Appropriately Named Bar [PHOTO]
The owner of a Charles City bar named Derailed clearly thought the name of his establishment was clever. It was next to railroad tracks after all. But early Tuesday morning, irony hit like a freight train.
At around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning, a train hauling grain slid off the tracks, tipped over and slammed in the bar. Yes, a train 'derailed' and hit a bar named Derailed. What are the odds? I'm guessing not good. It wasn't good for the bar either, as over $10,000 of damage was reported. Fortunately, no one was in the bar at the time and no injuries were reported.
