This Week’s ‘Teacher of the Week’ Hails from Cedar Rapids

Every week we team up with Menard's to honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our ‘Teacher of the Week’ award!

Congratulations to Amy Renner a teacher at Grant Elementary School in Cedar Rapids! She is this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!’ Amy was nominated by Amber Kinnison and this is her entry:

"Mrs. Renner is a caring and fun teacher who teaches in unique ways to meet kids' needs. Along with the other Explorer teachers, she gets to know the kids, how they like to learn, and what works best for them in order to give each child an individualized plan for success in learning. She also introduces fun things like yoga for exercise and a mental break from learning."
