The Shamrock Shake is Back in Eastern Iowa!

It's that time of year again! The beloved Shamrock Shake is back at McDonald's for a limited time.

To be honest with you, I think the Shamrock Shake tastes a little too similar to really cold mouthwash, so I don't ever drink them, but I know a TON of people who wait for this moment every year, so I wanted to spread the word.

Introduced back in 1970, the Shamrock Shake makes its debut every year around St. Patrick's Day. Last year, McDonald's tried to mix things up by adding four new variations of the classic shake to their menu, including the the Chocolate Shamrock Shake, but those will NOT be available this year. What is available this year is the Shamrock Shake Finder, a part of the existing McDonald's Finder app. I downloaded the app this morning (so you don't have to), and it looks like pretty much every Eastern Iowa McDonald's is serving them. The Shamrock Shake will only be available through March 17th, so you better get drinking!
