The Outback Bowl Will Be A Very Warm Experience

The Iowa Hawkeyes are playing in the Outback Bowl on January 2, 2017. If my math is correct, Iowa is playing in a bowl game for the 14th time in the last 16 seasons. That's a pretty awesome stat.

Besides the game, the festivities, and all of the other fun things the Outback Bowl has to offer, let's talk about the weather. I don't need to look at an almanac, or search a bunch of web pages to know one thing: IT WILL BE WARM THAT DAY IN FLORIDA.

That's the best part of traveling to a game like this. You can escape the freezing temperatures that we will most likely be experiencing here in Iowa. Last year, I went to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. It was warm enough that I swam in the outdoor pool before the game. It was perfect weather all week, I never put a jacket on once.

I attended the Outback Bowl in 2006. It was an experience I'll never forget. Tampa is a beautiful city with plenty of fun things to do. I recommend Clearwater Beach, it's only a 20 minute drive and it's always a party!
