The Linn County Fair Kicks Off This Week

It's going to be a very busy week in Central City! Wednesday we will officially kick of the Linn County Fair, which will run through next Monday, July 2nd. As always, admission to the fair and parking are both free! There are a TON of different events going on over the course of the fair, but we've put together a rundown of some of the big ones for you:

• Wednesday, July 27th
  • Little Mr. Linn County Judging - 3 p.m.
  • Little Miss Linn County Judging - 4 p.m.
  • Carnival opens - 5 p.m.
  • Governor Kim Reynolds @ the Grandstand - 5:15 p.m.
  • Coors Light Beer Pavilion opens - 6:30 p.m.
  • Mutton Bustin' @ the Grandstand - 7:30 p.m.
• Thursday, July 28th
  • Youth Day Mega Truck Freestyle Mania meet & greet @ the Grandstand - 9 a.m.
  • Carnival opens - 11 a.m.
  • Coors Light Beer Pavilion opens - 3 p.m.
  • Pre-Track Party Mega Truck Freestyle Mania @ the Grandstand - 6 p.m.
  • The Osborn Experience: Phenomenal Comedy Hypnosis @ the Free Entertainment Tent - 6 p.m.

• Friday, June 29th
