The Cedar Rapids Halloween Ball is Happening Again This Year

We have an official date!

It may seem like October is far away, but we're already almost halfway through the month of July, so Halloween is going to be here before you know it! The past two years, I have spent my Halloween weekend at a giant party at the DoubleTree by Hilton Convention Complex in Downtown Cedar Rapids. It's called the Haunted Halloween Ball and it is a BLAST. My favorite part is the insane amount of effort people put into their costumes. Here's a video recap of 2016's event:

I'm happy to report that the event is coming back for the 5th year in a row! According to the official Facebook page, the date of this year's ball is Saturday, October 26th. That's all we know so far, but details on ticket prices and the on-sale date will be announced later this month, so stay tuned! Tickets have sold out the last several years, so you're going to want to get yours pretty early. We will update this article as soon as we know more.
