From Friday, August 2nd to Sunday, August 4th, people from all across the globe will be pouring into Eastern Iowa for one of the biggest celebrations of Irish culture in the Midwest.
Iowa Irish Fest doesn't officially kick off until 2 PM on Friday, August 5th, but apparently, festival officials are already trying to squash an issue.
Organizers are preparing to welcome as many as 50,000 visitors, days after last week's overnight RAGBRAI stop brought around 20,000 guests to the city.
