What was thought to be a massive discovery at a landfill in Eastern Iowa has turned out to be nothing but a huge mistake.

Workers at the Clinton County landfill discovered what they believed to be human remains this last Saturday. An investigation has now been launched.

Foul play is not suspected, but officials believe the remains are of a male and have been there for over a year.

Test results of human remains believed to be those of Jake Wilson will be revealed in a news conference.

The remains were found in Cerro Gordo County, where TV anchor Jodi Huisentruit disappeared more than 20 years ago.
