While much of Iowa has been hit by worsening drought, our farmers have taken advantage of the wet conditions and are reaping the rewards in this year’s yields.
As we get into 2022, drought is expected to expand across the western region, raising concerns for another year like 2012- with extreme heat and drought.
The good news is that almost the entire country east of the Mississippi isn't suffering drought conditions. The bad news is, Iowa sits on the other side of the river.
