Mike Jennings, who works at the local homeless shelter sees a need to increase resources available to Cedar Rapids homeless citizens.

The Cedar Rapids March for Babies was met with beautiful weather and a very large turnout. The event was a big success, with the benefits to be seen in the future.

There's no denying we LOVE fishing in Cedar Rapids.  A drive across any of the bridges downtown, or around any lake will confirm that. But there's two days every summer where the best fishing hole in town is Robbins lake, as each fish caught could mean a big prize.
