Women's soccer superstar Abby Wambach had a message for everyone in attendance at Coe College in Cedar Rapids Tuesday night. Don't set your dreams too low. Wambach spoke to nearly 2,000 people at Eby Fieldhouse.

Wambach said she enjoys reaching out to smaller communities like Cedar Rapids, and compared it to her hometown of Rochester, NY. She said that people need to feel like they can still go out and make something of themselves, even if they come from a small city or go to a small school. Wambach stated that all children should be able to follow their dreams, no matter where they come from or what they believe.

Wambach, now 35, joined the U.S. Women's National team in 2001. She is a two time Olympic gold medalist, and a World Cup Champion. In her retirement, her mission is to continue to help the sport grow, and to continue to fight for equality in general.
