Send Your Valentine a 'Pup-a-Gram' from Last Hope Animal Rescue

You support a local animal rescue and your valentine gets some puppy kisses... it's a win-win situation!

Our friends at Last Hope Animal Rescue in Cedar Rapids have officially launched their popular Valentine's Day "Pup-a-Gram" and "Kitten Kiss" campaigns. If you're not familiar with the program, the Facebook page reads:

"On Valentine's Day, we visit the person you designate and bring either a dog or cat wearing some holiday finery. They get to play with the pet for a little while and they also get a rose from Anamosa Floral."

For an in-person visit, the cost is $35, and all of the proceeds benefit Last Hope and their mission to save animals. Deliveries are limited to the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City areas and must be booked in advance HERE. The volunteers making the deliveries will be masked and stay socially-distanced, but you should be prepared for lots of up-close love from the pups and kittens!

If you prefer a virtual version of the campaign, there is also an email option. The recipient of your choice will receive a special email on Valentine's Day for only $10. You can schedule that in advance HERE.

This week, we got a special visit from one of the pups at Last Hope Animal Rescue for our 'Furry Friday' segment. Her name is Nebula, and she is definitely prepared for the "Pup-a-Gram" program! She was dressed up in a special sweater and gave us a million kisses.
