The nationwide search for 20-year old Mollie Tibbetts of Brooklyn, Iowa continues.

Her mom, Laura Calderwood, last heard from Mollie Wednesday, July 18 at 7:30 p.m. when Mollie asked what was for dinner. She told her daughter 'brats,' and Mollie texted back "ok." That was the last time she heard from her daughter.

It is believed that Mollie's longtime boyfriend, Dalton Jack, was the last person to have contact with her. That occurred at around 10 p.m. the same night when they exchanged messages on Snapchat.

Mollie went running sometime Wednesday but her family believes it's possible she may have actually disappeared Thursday morning. Her mom told KWWL,

Possibly she went missing the next morning. She works for the day care and they were going to the fair Thursday and were all supposed to wear red shirts. And we can't find that red shirt Mollie was supposed to wear that morning anywhere."

The Gazette reports that FBI and Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation are now involved in the case. Her family continues to post updates on the Facebook page 'Finding Mollie Tibbetts.' Here's the latest:

Tuesday morning July 24

At this time, we have no news to share of our efforts to find Mollie. We know the investigation team continues to work so very hard, in a variety of ways, to bring Mollie home. Many of these efforts will just take time, and as frustrating as that feels, it is just part of how such investigations work. If you have any information or possible tips, please contact the Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office. Tips@poweshiekcosheriff.com

At this time, the family has NOT set up any kind of fund to help our efforts to find Mollie. If that changes, we will announce it here first.

I have received hundreds of messages from so many of you. While I have tried to respond to as many as possible, please know that every message and email has been read and acted upon as necessary.

We remain so grateful for the efforts that all of you have given to find Mollie! We know her flyers are posted across the country, truck drivers and motorcycle groups are sharing her information, and there have hundreds of thousands of tweets and Facebook shares. PLEASE continue these efforts so that Mollie’s story stays at the top of newsfeeds and pages!

Thank you.

The Poweshiek County Sheriff's Office has set up a special email address for anyone that can provide information that might help the case. The email address is Tips@poweshiekcosheriff.com.

Please continue to share her photos. Let's get her home safely.
