Scotty McCreery is Coming to Cedar Rapids This Winter

We're excited to welcome another great country concert to Cedar Rapids in just a few months. Scotty McCreery is coming to downtown Cedar Rapids.

It's hard to believe it's been nearly 11 years since America was introduced to Scotty on 'American Idol'. Here's a look back at the audition, and the night we saw him for the first time:

About three months later, he won it all. He was just 17 when he won Season 10 of 'American Idol', beating out Lauren Alaina, who's also put together a nice career over the last decade:

Ok, enough about the distant past. Scotty McCreery has been on a roll for the last several years, and now has four consecutive #1 songs, including my favorite 'This is It'. The video features footage from his wedding in June of 2018. Scotty met his wife, Gabi, in kindergarten. They began dating their senior year in high school.

Scotty will be joined in Cedar Rapids by two other acts in Cedar Rapids. The first is Tenille Arts. A native of Saskatchewan, Tenille hit the top of the charts earlier this year with 'Somebody Like That', a song she co-wrote.

The other is the 5-man band, King Calaway.
