SAINT Rescue Has Nearly 100 Cats Up for Adoption

If you're thinking about adding a cat or kitten to your family this fall, SAINT Rescue is the place to go!
SAINT Rescue in Cedar Rapids is our featured animal shelter for our 'Furry Friday' segment this week, so we got the pleasure of speaking with Jamie about some of the cats they have up for adoption. During the interview, Jamie revealed that SAINT currently has around 90 cats and kittens in their care, many of which were discovered after the derecho. One of the kittens we got to meet is a sweet little guy named Kai.
Kai is not a derecho kitten. He was actually just dropped off at the shelter this week by a local man who heard the kitten crying under his porch. Jamie believes he was abandoned by his mother. Unfortunately, 3-week-old Kai is still way too young to be adopted out to a family, since he's still being bottle-fed, but in about eight-weeks he should be ready to go! Just look at how sweet he is:
