Reba & Husband Narvel Have Announced Their Separation

The summer of 2015 is shaping up to be one to remember as far as country music's couples are concerned, and not for a good reason. This time, Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock, her husband of 26 years, have announced they're separated.

Reba and Narvel released the statement below today, via the Big Machine Label Group, and also announced they'd been separated for several months.

"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other. They have worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so. They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time."

Narvel runs a management company that represents not only Reba, but also Blake Shelton, and the wife of Narvel's son Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson. Brandon is one of three children from Blackstock's first marriage.

Reba, a Grammy-winning multiplatinum artist whose career also includes 11 movies, the popular "Reba" television show, and a stint on Broadway in "Annie Get Your Gun," is scheduled to perform at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines on Sunday, August 16th.

I didn't see this one coming at all though perhaps Reba selling a multi-million dollar house earlier this year was a hint. That story is below. My best to them both.
