Popular Iowa City Restaurant Adding Another Corridor Location

Two years ago, Yahoo named it Iowa's best barbecue restaurant. Last year, Thrillist gave it the same kudos. Now, Jimmy Jack's Rib Shack is ready to add a third location, outside of Iowa City.

Jimmy Jack's Rib Shack will be opening a new location at 745 Community Drive in North Liberty. It will be in the building below that shows 'TNails' on one end and 'Sushiya' on the other. Space in the building was purchased a couple months ago.

If you've ever frequented the Jimmy Jack's locations on South Clinton or Lower Muscatine Road in Iowa City, you know how great it is. Co-owner James Adrian told the Iowa City Press-Citizen,

The barbecue we do is top quality. The sauces and the rubs we use on the meats are really unique and people have really responded so positively to it all."

 

If you haven't tried it yet, you'll have another location to visit soon. The Iowa City Press-Citizen reports the North Liberty location will be opening sometime in September. You may not be able to wait that long after seeing these pictures.
