Downtown Cedar Rapids is going to have one less lunch spot later this month. According to their Facebook page, Osgood's is closing.

If you've never heard of the restaurant, it might be because you don't work downtown. The small business, located on Third Avenue SE in the Armstrong building food court, is only open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Gazette reports that they started off serving bagels, salads, and sandwiches, but ended up dropping bagels and focusing on lunch items back in September "in an attempt to increase revenue." Unfortunately, they're now closing for good.

Osgood's would've celebrated their two year anniversary in May of this year. Their final day in business is Friday, January 17th.

The Armstrong building food court still houses two other restaurants: Gringo's Cafe & Catering, open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and MIX Sushi & Kitchen, open Monday through Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday & Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
