Old Dominion’s Cedar Rapids Concert POSTPONED
We're sad to report that the acclaimed country band Old Dominion has postponed their show on Friday, February 15 at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids. The new show date is Sunday, March 31.
The frontman of the group and 'Make It Sweet' singer Matthew Ramsey had this to say regarding the circumstance:
Postponing concert dates was not the way I planned on starting 2019 but unfortunately the truth is that I’ve been playing with an injury for some time now (you may have noticed less pictures being posted of me flying through the air recently!). Unfortunately, the only way I can get back to the old me is to fix some things surgically. I want to be able to put on the best show I possibly can for you all and, in order to do that, I’ve got to take care of myself. I thank you all in advance for understanding, and I look forward to making a full recovery so that we all rock together. See you soon!"- Matthew Ramsey
That "flying through the air" aspect that he mentioned is shown below. The guy clearly knows how to put on a show and frequently jumps around (that is, up until his injury).
We just hope that he gets healthy fast and makes a full recovery because we can't wait to see the group here in K-Hawk Country! The openers on the show that were previously announced will change slightly due to the new date. Jordan Davis will remain on the bill, but Morgan Evans will be replaced by 'Drunk Me' singer Mitchell Tenpenny. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date.
