North Liberty is Getting a Brewery, Entertainment Center, & More
Big things are coming to North Liberty! A new article from the Corridor Business Journal says that the city is getting a new brewery, family entertainment center, coffee shop, and more.
It sounds like Brandon Pratt and the Lion Development Group have been very busy lately! According to the CBJ, "Lion Development Group is in the initial stages of developing an entertainment center featuring bowling, a commercial building with office spaces and a coffee shop, and moving its Pizza Ranch restaurant to a different location in North Liberty." This is in addition to a big new brewery and a new apartment building.
Let's start with the beer! Field Day Brewing Company, "North Liberty's first brewery & taproom," is being built in the lot right next to Tin Roost at 925 Liberty Way. The new 20,910 square-foot building is set to open in the summer of 2023. We don't have too many details about the brewery just yet, but there is a rendering of what the building will look like when its complete:
Also next to Tin Roost will be Penn Street Place, a four-story apartment building with both one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. The building is expected to open in February of next year and showings will start soon.
Now, let's talk pizza and fun! The Pizza Ranch location at 395 Beaver Kreek Center in North Liberty is going to be relocating to a new building on Hayes Lane. The 6,500-square-foot restaurant will be connected to a new entertainment center called Bowldogs. According to the article, Bowldogs will be 22,000-square-feet and have around 20 bowling lanes, as well as an "adult only" area with pool tables and dart boards. It will also connect to a 3,500-square-foot arcade! They are aiming for a fall 2023 opening.
And finally, right next to the entertainment center will be a commercial building with office space, as well as a coffee shop. It's also set to be the new headquarters for Lion Development Group.
