NFL MVP Signs Endorsement Deal With Hy-Vee

When you're the reigning MVP of the NFL, endorsement deals are pretty easy to come by. It's up to the player and his team of agents and advisers to pick and choose which ones are a good fit and make sense. Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had a season to remember last year. Now he's signed on with Hy-Vee Food Stores.

Hy-Vee announced the partnership with Mahomes on Monday. According to officials with Hy-Vee Mahomes will be in Des Moines on Tuesday. He will conclude a lineup of speakers at Hy-Vee's 'Exercising Your Character' event. Hy-Vee said that more details about Mahomes' deal with the store will be announced at the event today.

Hy-Vee wasn't the only endorsement deal that Mahomes announced yesterday. The QB also signed on with Essentia Water, one of the leaders in the alkaline water market. The company did over $200 million in sales last year. Mahomes also has deals with Hunts Ketchup and Oakley sunglasses. Not a bad roster for Hy-Vee to join.
