New Fried Chicken Restaurant Comes to Downtown Cedar Rapids

Earlier this week we observed the Fourth of July and then celebrated National Fried Chicken Day. For many people, the two go hand in hand simply because there is nothing more "All-American" than good old fried chicken.

Harold’s Chicken is proud to announce the opening of their permanent location at 200 1st Ave NE in downtown Cedar Rapids. The store will open today at 12:00pm

In celebration of the successful opening of their 3rd store in Iowa, they are offering $1 Wing Wednesday for the next 3 Days at all 3 of their locations. Customers will be able to get $1 Wings from open until close this weekend only.

The Harold’s chicken brand was initially introduced to Cedar Rapids in a temporary pop-up location back in the late fall of 2016. Since then, the Iowa City, and Waterloo locations are open and thriving.

Although the menu slightly varies at each location, patrons can expect the same fried chicken, fish, gizzards, and an array of other items that consumers have grown to know and love from the 67 year old Harold’s brand.
