National Mac & Cheese Day — Who Has the Best in Eastern Iowa?

Yesterday was National French Fry Day, but today we're celebrating a food holiday that's a little bit... cheesier!

July 14th is also known as National Mac & Cheese Day, and there are a couple of different chains that are offering deals on their mac & cheese in honor of the holiday. According to USA Today, Noodles & Company is celebrating Macapalooza from July 14th through 16th. Noodles Rewards members can order a regular-sized bowl of mac & cheese for only $3 each day. If you're more of a Panera Bread fan, members of the MyPanera loyalty program can get $2 off Mac & Cheese orders via the app today at participating locations, and some supermarkets are offering $1 off the pre-packaged Panera Mac & Cheese today, too!

Mac & cheese is one of my favorite foods on the planet, so I've ordered it just about everywhere! Noodles and Panera both have good mac, but there are also a lot of local restaurants that you should check out! Here are some of my personal favorites that I've had recently (in no particular order):
