If you're a fan of the A&E Network show "Storage Wars" you may be interested to know more about Emily Wears, the Iowa female auctioneer who is capturing the hearts of fans with her unique style and personality. Emily is the newest member on the show, which is now in it's tenth season on air.

Emily is from Solon, Iowa. She is the daughter of Brent Wears who has run a successful auctioneer company for years. Emily got the job with the show late last year and flew in to California to tape 9 episodes while still working back here in Iowa.

According to CBS 2 News, "the premise of "Storage Wars" has auctioneers cutting the locks off from abandon storage units, giving the bidders a brief glance inside and then the chaos begins. Emily says part of the thrill is seeing what's hidden behind the door."

Her dad says Emily is a natural, and one of the few women auctioneers in the U.S. Surprisingly, it is estimated that only 3% of all auctioneers are female.

We're intrigued by this story and Emily's skill as a next-generation auctioneer. Her rise to fame is one we'd like to invite her to tell on the air with us on the KRNA Morning Show. Stay tuned!
