McCaffery Lands 4-Star Recruit for Iowa

Wednesday was another great day to be a Hawkeye. Coveted 4-star recruit Tyler Cook from St. Louis confirmed that he will be joining the Iowa Hawkeye men's basketball program in 2016. Cook and his mother were at the Iowa/Pitt football game last weekend as the Hawks won in dramatic fashion. He was scheduled to make a visit to Florida but after his announcement yesterday, that won't be happening.

Cook is the highest-rated recruit to commit to Iowa in the past 4 years. He also had offers from schools like Kansas, Michigan, Purdue, Iowa State and Arkansas to name a few. The bottom line? This is a great get for Fran McCaffery and Iowa basketball!
