Manchester is Home to This Week’s KHAK ‘Teacher of the Week’

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, we are still honoring great local teachers with our KHAK 'Teacher of the Week' award!

Congratulations to Dawn Klostermann, a first-grade teacher at St. Mary's School in Manchester! Dawn was nominated by Marcia Vacek. Her entry reads:

"Dawn has done an incredible job with our son Eli this year in 1st-grade. She has worked with him to improve his focus and behavior and he has thrived. Her patience, understanding, and dedication has made a world of difference not only for our son, but for our entire family. Even during this tough pandemic, she has gone above and beyond sending emails, worksheets, and books home for all her students."

For being such a wonderful teacher, Dawn will be receiving gift cards to Half Price Books in Cedar Rapids and Wild Hogs Saloon & Eatery in Walford!
