About Lunardi’s Italian Restaurant

Located 102 E Kimberly Rd, Lunardi's Italian Restaurant has been a staple in the Quad Cities since 1989. It was founded by Terry Lunardi, and now, almost 40 years later, it is still in the hands of the Lunardi family. The restaurant's official website says that it is currently owned and operated by husband and wife Paul and Brooke Lunardi.

According to the website, Lunardi's specializes in "authentic pastas, Chicago style pizzas, sandwiches, seafood & garden fresh salads," and everything is made-to-order with fresh ingredients. In addition to dine-in and carryout, Lunardi's also offers catering with their 'Party To Go' menu.

The Lasagna

One of the highlights of the Lunardi's menu is their legendary lasagna. The article from Love Food reads:

"Don't be fooled by the strip mall location of Lunardi’s Italian Restaurant; if you venture inside, you’ll be rewarded with the best lasagna in the area. The dish boasts an impressive 17 layers of ricotta, pepperoni, meatballs, Italian sausage, mozzarella, Romano cheese, and pasta, and it's large enough for two people to share. The service here is also outstanding."
