Local Family-Owned Restaurant Opening New Cedar Rapids Location

One of the area's finest Italian restaurants will be opening a second location on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids.

When my wife Holly and I are celebrating a special occasion, we have certain restaurants we like to frequent. One of those stops is in Marion. In fact, we ate there last fall for our 23rd wedding anniversary. If you love made-from-scratch Italian food with a nice glass of wine, then you know all about Napoli's Italian Restaurant. Located at 500 Marion Blvd. Napoli's features homemade dishes in a European atmosphere. You can order their amazing food to go or dine in and enjoy dinner on the patio. Patrons have enjoyed the Napoli's in Marion since it opened in February of 2011. But now, the owners are planning a second location!

According to a post on the Cedar Rapids Area Support Local Facebook page, Napoli's is making a move to the southwest side!

The post claims that the new Napoli's Italian Restaurant location will be over near the Westdale Chick Fil A store. According to the address in the photo, the new Napoli's will go into the building that used to be the home of Saucy Focaccia at 2360 Edgewood Road SW. No word yet on when the new location might possibly be open.
