Looking for a beer this summer that tastes great AND will keep pesky insects away? Do we have a new brew for you!

Lion Bridge Brewing Company in Cedar Rapids has a fun new summer beverage for you to try and it is a collaboration of sorts with Bug Soother, Iowa's favorite bug repelant. The Corridor Business Journal reports the new summer ale will be available during a limited release this summer. And now for the answer, some of you are no doubt wondering. Does this beer really taste like Bug Soother?

Of course not. The new brew from Lion Bridge, called Summer Soother, features citrus hops, lemongrass, and hints of vanilla, which is a nod to Bug Soother's scent, according to the CBJ. Officials with Lion Bridge call the collaboration with Bug Soother "a really fun project to bring out at the right time of year."

So where can you get this new Summer Soother? The CBJ reports that Lion Bridge will unveil the new creation on June 19th at its taproom located at 59 16th Ave. SW in Cedar Rapids. It will also be available at the brewery and at select local retailers while supplies last this summer.
