Lee Brice To Perform In Cedar Rapids This Spring
One of the absolute nicest guys in country music and a terrific live performer, Lee Brice is bound for Cedar Rapids late this spring.
Brice just teamed with Carly Pearce to win the Academy of Country Music Awards trophies for Single of the Year and Music Event of the Year for "I Hope You're Happy Now." They also won Musical Event of the Year at last fall's Country Music Association Awards.
That song marks Brice's seventh trip to the top of the country charts and his third number one song in a row. His other chart-toppers are “One of Them Girls,” "Rumor," "I Don't Dance," "I Drive Your Truck," "Hard to Love," and "A Woman Like You."
I mentioned earlier that Brice is one of the nicest guys in country music. He proved that again last month when he helped make a fan's dream come true by showing up at his opening act's meet-and-greet. He proceeded to play and sing his hit 'Love Like Crazy.' A young man hit his knee during the song, proposing to his girlfriend. You can see it HERE.
Lee Brice will perform at the McGrath Amphitheatre in Cedar Rapids on Thursday, June 17, with special guest Kameron Marlowe. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, April 23, at 10 a.m. You can get details HERE. Prior to that, we'll have a special KHAK presale on Thursday, April 22, beginning at 10 a.m. To receive the presale information on your phone Wednesday afternoon, just download the KHAK app HERE and sign up for Concerts/Events alerts.
Each morning this week, KHAK's Brain and Courtlin will be playing 'One Note Wonder' with Lee Brice songs. Name the song each morning to win tickets to the show!
