Lee Brice Returns to K-Hawk Country This Fall
Lee Brice's career has been on the fast track toward stardom the last couple of years, and he's returning to our area for what's sure to be another fantastic concert. Lee and his special guest both have singles in country music's top ten this week!
After playing to a large crowd in downtown Cedar Rapids late this spring, we're happy to announce Brice will be performing at the TaxSlayer Center in Moline this fall. His concert is the first newly-announced country show at the Illinois venue in a very long time.
Brice has topped the country charts six times in his career and it looks like he'll change that total to seven very soon. His latest single, "Memory I Don't Mess With", is at #7 this week. The song again showcases the flexibility of Brice's voice. His hit songs vary from the uptempo party theme of "Parking Lot Party" to the emotionally powerful #1 hit "I Drive Your Truck".
Lee will be joined on the stage by Lainey Wilson, whose current song "Things a Man Oughta Know", sits at #2 in country music this week. Wilson, a Louisiana native, has dreamed of a country career since she was nine years old. She started writing songs when she was in fourth grade. During her high school years, Wilson toured the deep south states of Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, impersonating Hannah Montana, a television character played by Miley Cyrus. After graduating, she made the move to Music City.
The Lee Brice/Lainey Wilson show is Thursday night, November 4. Tickets for the concert go on sale on Friday, September 24. More details are available HERE.
