During the COVID-19 pandemic, court hearings across the country have been done over the phone or on Zoom. In this case, I can assure you there's one lawyer that wished this particular one would have been done on the phone.

The video below was posted today by the 394th Judicial District Court in Texas. As the court proceeding begins, you can hear the judge telling 'Mr. Ponton' that he believes he has a filter turned on. A filter that makes him appear to everyone in the meeting, like a cat.

I just love Mr. Bauer in the lower left, putting on his glasses to see what the judge is talking about. Then, absolutely no facial reaction from him. He adjusts his tie. Trust me, Mr. Bauer, no one's looking at you.

Mr. Phillips, in the upper right, seems disinterested until he hears Mr. Ponton say something I simply can't spoil for you. At that point, he couldn't help but chuckle. Chuckle? It was all I could do to keep from crying. The best part of all is the cat's eyes. It so perfectly matches what you can tell are Mr. Ponton's feelings. So concerned and embarrassed.

These guys all handled this so beautifully, and professionally, just like you'd expect them to. If this would've happened at the radio station... well, let's just say we wouldn't have been so "adult" about it.

Have you had any Zoom mishaps during the pandemic? Please share your story below. If it's half as good as this one, I'd love to hear about it.
