Iowa guard Kylie Feuerbach went through senior day festivities with her parents earlier this year at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The guard had been through a lot in her Iowa career. But it turns out she wants one more chance to make some more memories at Iowa.

Feuerbach announced that she will return for her fifth, and final season, with the Iowa women's basketball team next season, according to Hawk Central. It will be her sixth season of college basketball after playing her freshman season with Iowa State. Feuerbach wasn't sure she'd be back. It had been a long six years, extended by COVID, and a medical redshirt. Hawk Central reports that she missed the 2022-2023 campaign with a torn ACL.

But the chance to play one more year of college basketball proved to be too much to turn down. Her return will add a much-needed veteran to a young Iowa backcourt. Hawk Central reports that this season has been Feuerbach's best in Iowa City. She has started all 32 games and is averaging a career-high in points and minutes played. She has also become Iowa's best one-on-one defender.

Hawk Central reports that Iowa coach Jan Jensen agrees. She stated that Kylie is "a tremendous teammate above all and will give us some veteran leadership for next year. She will return as one of the top defenders in the Big Ten."

Kylie and the Hawkeyes are in action tomorrow in the NCAA Tournament. They take on Murray State at 11 a.m.
