KHAK’s Teacher of the Week Is From Cedar Rapids

Every week we honor another awesome teacher in the local area with our ‘Teacher of the Week’ award!

Congratulations to Mary Schulte, a teacher at Truman Elementary School in Cedar Rapids! She is this week’s ‘Teacher of the Week!’ Mary was nominated by Haley Mussmann, and here’s what she had to say:

"Mrs. Schulte makes learning fun and is responsible for my daughter's passion for reading. She takes the time to get to really know her students and forms great relationships. She helped our Girl Scout Troop Take Over the Garden at the school and was always there to lend a helping hand."
