Last weekend was a pretty big life event for me--I got hitched!

It's hard to believe that this day has already come and gone. It seems like just yesterday I met my now husband, but we've already been together for five years and were engaged for just over a year. Now here we are married.

I'm a very organized person and I pride myself on having things in order. When it came to my wedding, my fiance and I planned everything. I mean E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. Despite my attention to detail, I surprisingly wasn't a bridezilla. I had my moments, sure, but I tried to stay "chill" throughout the process.

On the day of the wedding, I was very relaxed as I was just trying to take in every moment (and not cry and ruin my makeup). We got married outside of a big barn in Missouri and the weather was absolutely beautiful. There were lanterns and baby's breath lining the aisle, the ceremony was short and sweet and filled with love, the speeches were great and heartfelt, the band was lively and energetic, and the fireworks were INCREDIBLE. It was perfect.

We had such a blast celebrating with our friends and family. It was seriously the best day ever for us. We haven't got any of our professional photos back yet, but we probably won't share much when we do. We like keeping things somewhat private in a world where everything is posted on social media. I will share with you this photo of our venue though to give you a little glimpse.
