Kenny Chesney certainly brought the party when he kicked off the 2014 CMA Awards -- complete with a tie-dyed school bus!

Backed by a bevy of hippie-kid dancers and a full band, Chesney performed 'American Kids,' the first single off his chart-topping album, 'The Big Revival,' to a packed house at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. There were tambourines, American-flag bikinis and bell-bottoms flared as big as they could go. And the CMA Awards started with a bang.

Chesney isn't up for any awards this year, but if his new album is any indication, he definitely will be next year.
