Another country act has been announced for this summer's Iowa State Fair!

It has just been revealed that Kane Brown will be taking over the Grandstand at the 2022 Iowa State Fair on Thursday, August 18th at 8 p.m. The press release reads:

"The 5-time American Music Award (AMA) winner and 2021 Time100 most influential people in the world continues to break the boundaries of country music. Brown’s latest collaboration with Grammy and Oscar Award winning artist H.E.R., 'Blessed & Free,' follows chart topping 'One Mississippi' and 'Famous Friends' with Chris Young."

Opening for Kane is country singer Jessie James Decker, who you may know from her songs “Should Have Known Better” and “The Woman I have Become.”

Tickets for Kane Brown's Iowa State Fair concert will go on sale this Friday, February 25th at 10 a.m. at IowaStateFair.org or by calling 800-514-3849. They will cost between $45 and $90 apiece.

Kane is actually the fourth country act announced as a headliner at the 2022 Iowa State Fair. Other previously announced shows include:

As far as non-country performers go, the band Skillet, hip-hop/R&B artists Nelly & Ginuwine, and comedian John Crist are all on the schedule. More acts will be announced as we get closer to the 2022 fair, which is set for August 11th through 21st in Des Moines.
