Joey + Rory's final album is the best-selling collection in country music for a second consecutive week. Hymns That Are Important to Us is once again No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart.

The album sold 44,060 copies in the last week, and has sold 220,291 copies in the six weeks since it was released. It has been at No. 1 since shortly after Joey Feek passed away after inspiring fans everywhere with her brave battle with cancer, which she faced with unwavering dignity and faith to the very end.

The album was a passion project for Joey, who had wanted to record an album of traditional hymns for many years. When she got the news that her cancer was Stage 4, she insisted on finishing the record, even singing some of her vocal parts in her hotel room between rounds of treatment to make sure everything got finished. Anticipation for the album was high, since Joey + Rory shared her health battle publicly and inspired so many fans from all over the world, and the singer lived to see her dream project reach No. 1 when it debuted in February. Even so, she wouldn't take credit for the accomplishment.

“This is one that she has always wanted to make, and she’s worked so hard to make it happen, in spite of the difficult circumstances she is facing,” Rory explained. “As I congratulated her, she responded through tears: ‘No, honey, this is God’s record.'”

Joey Martin Feek passed away on March 4 and was laid to rest in a private ceremony on the couple's farm in Tennessee on March 8. The residents in her hometown of Alexandria, Ind., gathered together on March 13 for a public memorial celebrating the singer's life, and the profound impact she had on so many others.
